Topshop + River Island Haul

I haven’t been to Topshop (or any other clothes shop for that matter) since we’ve moved flats. And as a result, I went overboard and spent nearly £200 on random stuff. I was actually planning on buying a new lens for my camera but decided that I don’t really need it right now. So…here are some of my recent acquisitions, and some random thoughts regarding about them, just because I don’t have anything post worthy right now.

Aviator Sunglasses and Round Lens Readers from Topman

I actually had an aviator sunglasses before but I forgot to bring it back with me during my vacation to the Philippines. I’ve been looking for a nice pair ones since then. Didn’t expect to find a pair at the same shop where I bought my first one. Hahaha!

The round readers are just adorable. Plus point: my mom actually likes it on me.

Faux Croc Phone Purse and Black Washed Backpack from Topshop

I was never really a great fan of “animal skin” when it comes to bags and purses, but this phone purse from Topshop is very stylish. And it’s good to bring around during events, party or if you just don’t fancy carrying a huge handbag when you’re out. Plus it fits two of the essential things in my life; my iPhone and debit cards. Oh, FYI no crocs were harmed in the making, so no need to call ‘PETA’. Heehee.

Just so you know, I’m actually more of a backpack than a handbag person. I really hate carrying handbags since they make my shoulder/arm sore especially if I bring my camera with me. For me, backpacks are far comfortable to carry around than handbags. That is if you’re someone who likes to take photos and carry your gears around with you all the time.

I am not really a tall person and I do get jealous with girls who are naturally tall. But since I can’t stand wearing heels, I always try and look for sensible shoes that boosts my height yet feels flat at the same time.
